low key halloween

It was another low key Halloween for Anna and Sophia. They are still to young to know what the day is all about so we decided to wait another year before we begin the trick or treat tradition. However it was not a day without laughs and fun. Each did get a pumpkin which they love, grandma and grandpa Benson came by for a visit, and the girls did split some Raisinets. As you can see from their pictures, life is pretty good just shy of age two. 

one really big science kid

Sophia and Anna are big fans of Sid The Science Kid (the latest popular cartoon). They don't watch very often but when they do they are very involved with the show. Usually taking a front row seat (or rather standing right in front of the t.v. staring with amazement), and yes, I have considered having them sit down on the floor, but they can't really go blind by "sitting too close". 

Anyway, a few days ago we headed out to the mall to pick out a particular birthday present for a particular set of twins and as we entered the mall, off in the distance, to the girls amazement, was "Sid"! They were both very excited to see him somewhere other than our t.v. set at home, so we headed over his direction to pay him a visit. As we moved closer it became more and more apparent to Anna and Sophia that Sid was a SUPER SIZED SCIENCE KID. Anna was very impressed! Sophia however, was extremely cautious of this super sized kid and when we took her out of the stroller to say hi to Sid, she was not to happy getting close to this giant. As you can tell from the picture he was a bit overwhelming to her.

This weekend the girls went over to their friends house for a birthday party.

Charley and Jackson are also twins who just turned two, just as Sophia and Anna will soon do.
