Today we caught the final display of "a day in the life of an elf" at the Macy's store downtown with cousin Tyler and auntie Trista. Needless to say; the girls were in awe!

x-mas party
Last weekend we headed over to Charley and Jacksons house for a holiday party. We had a great time making some holly jolly music and of course there was a lot of running in circles. This weekend we will be doing some more running in circles as we will surely be busy with all the festivities and to top things off we received a couple of feet of fresh snow today which adds to the festive feel :)

getting into the holiday spirit
Over the week we have been preparing for the holidays by putting up our tree, visiting Santa and listening to some festive music.

our first gingerbread house
This week the girls got a taste of what school for big kids is all about when we visited momma at work.
While we were there Anna and Sophia had their first opportunity at building gingerbread houses.
Needless to say we didn't really accomplish much as the house decorations mysteriously disappeared.
