midsommar....almost

Today we are at the Swedish Institute for the Midsommar celebration. While it is not quite midsummer and they are lacking the traditional maypole, the girls still had themselves a wonderful time.

And it would't be a midsommar celebration with stopping by Ingebretsen's for some delicious swedish meatballs and summer-sausage.....yummahy!

Yesterday the girls headed over to vehicle day with Charley and Jackson in St. Paul. While there they checked out what appears to be something pre-model T.

...and every time they see a school bus they talk about how they are "not old enough and have to be five to ride a school bus", they seemed very happy to have an early test ride.

lastly: they had a chance to sit in the back of a squad car, we assume this will be the only time.
