a parade and some sparklers

For this years 4th of July festivities we went to the Apple Valley parade instead of heading down to Blooming Prairie as we have always done in the past. It was a good time for the girls but we missed that Lake Wobegon feel.


We skipped the big after dusk fireworks show but I did pick up some sparklers and fire shooting tanks for the girls to enjoy (and yes they were given the big speech about fire safety :)

independence weekend

We have been having ourselves a fabulous weekend with some swimming at the lake with cousin Tyler, Pony rides and petting zoo's. The girls love it, and so does momma and me.
