It took a while for us to convince the girls that we were not going to see Diego (a favorite cartoon character of theirs), but rather; going to San Diego! Now that we are here, Sophia keeps her Diego reference's going only by referring to the palm trees as "the jungle"...and like the cartoon we are having quite the adventure. Yesterday we headed to Point Loma where the girls had a fabulous time of course, today we have no plans but we will certainly have some exciting adventures to bring to the blog for tomorrow.

Today we embark on our first family flight and we are heading to California. Breakfast was exciting for the girls since we stopped off at McDonalds (a choice rarely made for us).

While we waited to take off Sophia enjoyed taking calls at the pay phone, while Anna sang the ABC's into momma's brush

We have arrived now at San Diego and will have more to post very soon, but for now; we are heading to the beach!
