fueling the fire

I don't want to give the appearance that Sophia and Anna are constantly loafing around the house, watching tv, eating junk food and making unreasonable demands that could only be concocted in the mind of a two year old, but looking back over the past few months of entries I have seen several that present exactly that. Well here is one more. 

The other day I brought home a pack of Twinkies from the store so the girls could have their first Hostess experience. They loved them! Sophia scarfed hers down faster than I have ever seen her eat anything. Afterwards her eyes turned longingly towards Anna's treat and seemed to be suggesting some communication through her body language; interpreted below:

You sure you're gonna eat that whole thing?

Seriously? Seriously!

So...dad, got another one for me?

Please?

Today we took the girls out for their first Chuck E. Cheese experience. At times they seemed a bit overwhelmed by all the excitement but overall seemed really happy with being there. When Chuck E. made his appearance for all the kids celebrating birthdays Sophia and Anna were right there in the action. I think Anna may even be in several birthday pictures with Chuck E. and some kids who actually had birthdays today.
