an edible arrangement

Today we received quite the surprise when a delivery man stopped by with an edible arrangement from our cousin Myra in Cali. It was a very pleasant surprise indeed, but some little ones around our place can only stand just looking for so long.
The grapes were the first to go, followed immediately by the Strawberries. Once they got into those they realized some were covered in chocolate, that was a big hit!
...then it was on to the pineapple. Last to go was the melon, Sophia reluctantly ate it but Anna would not touch it (ya, she's my daughter).

doing springy things

This afternoon we walked down the road to Barton School to pick up some tomato plants for mama.
The girls had a great time checking out all the flowers on display.
Our walk home got a little wet as it started to rain, but that is just one more of those springy things.

backyard bbq with friends

Today we headed to West St. Paul to celebrate the girls friends (Charley and Jackson (above)) second and a half birthday. As you can see from the photos there was no shortage of activities. Anna and Sophia had a blast and so did Lisa and I, ah yes...summer is upon us!
