On Wednesday we went down to visit great grandma Benson for a while, here are a few pictures from the day.

Over the weekend we had some cousins in town and on Sunday we went out for breakfast to the Egg & I in uptown. The food was excellent and the girls enjoyed their time there until we started getting ready to leave that is. It was then that Sophia missed out on something she wanted (lord only knows what), and then came the all out temper tantrum. My aunt Sherry then reminded me of the time I did the very same thing at a restaurant as a boy, so unruly and out of control that my mother had to sit with me in the car while my dad finshed his meal. Lucky for us we had finished eating.

Yesterday we celebrated the life of the girls great grandpa Benson. Sophia was a bit impatient during the service and momma was busy giving out graham crackers to keep them occupied. Afterward we had lunch and then it was play time for the kids.

Anna and Sophia really enjoyed playing hide-n-seek in the curtains.

Once all the kids ended up in the hall, the party really got going for the little ones.
