Over the weekend we headed over to momma's work place for a benefit taking place for a student with leukemia. While we were there the girls finally got their chance to jump in a bounce house with out a bunch of menacing big kids in the mix...
needless to say it appeared much more exciting with big kids in the mix, Anna and Sophia enjoyed it but quickly became bored and wanted to move on to different things.
Once we made our way to the gymnasium the girls found room to run around and they even did a bit of dancing as they so often like to do.
After some brats and corn on the cob for lunch we headed to the outdoor toys where Anna had her first tornado slide experience
After dangling her legs on the slide, Sophia opted to enjoy the view from above for the time being.
While we were there an incident occurred on the bounce toy when the stairs to the big slide became overloaded with kids and the whole inflatable toy collapsed from the weight, luckily Minneapolis's finest firefighters were at the scene in an instant to clear out the kids....
Afterwards as luck would have it Anna and Sophia had a chance to sit in the big firetruck, but only for a few moments for the firefighters received a call. Just as quickly as we could get the girls out, the truck was off with sirens blaring.
