off to the races

Today we went to Canterbury Downs for a day of horse racing (a first for the girls)....

...and while we were there we met up with some extended family from the Gertie Geck side (the girls great grandma's sister)

Another grand adventure of the day was stopping off at Lakeville's finest hamburger stand, the Dairy Delite. Yes another great Saturday :)

classic weekend breakfast

Spicy Eggs: olive oil eggs infused with turmeric, sweet basil and cajun spice. Cream cheese bagels and veggie sausage links.

This is our typical weekend breakfast that we have every weekend and this is one of our favorite things.
