our first gingerbread house

This week the girls got a taste of what school for big kids is all about when we visited momma at work.

While we were there Anna and Sophia had their first opportunity at building gingerbread houses.

Needless to say we didn't really accomplish much as the house decorations mysteriously disappeared.

Last weekend was the famous lutefisk dinner at Mindekirken. It is so popular in fact that we were unable to get in as it was sold out. But when momma stopped by to pick up tickets and discovered it was sold out they were still able to convince her to volunteer as a server for the day so we were fortunate enough to get some leftover's at the end of the day.

The picture below is from the Nelson family Thanksgiving that we celebrated yesterday at great grandpa's house in Blooming Prairie. It was a great feast and we have had a great extended weekend. Today however; we rest.
