It may sound bad, but Botox originally came about to treat muscle spasticity, which is exactly what Anna has and today we headed to Shriners Hospital for her first treatment. We were a little nervous about doing it at first but it should hopefully help her improve her walk and we are confident it is something we can do again for her in the future, as it only lasts a few months.

Since we were across the river; momma and I took Anna out for lunch at the St Clair Broiler, we felt a little guilty not having Sophia [daycare] with us but since Anna was such a good sport today we had to give her a special treat. Her Mickey shaped pancake was a real hit!

Over the weekend we took part in the March Of Dimes: March for Babies. While we were there we ran into a few characters and happened to get a couple shots with some of them (it is nice to see that even some on the dark side have a heart for preemies).

unsurprise party

This weekend we had a surprise party for grandma Bean, who was celebrating her 60th birthday. Everyone (including grandma) knew about the party but the girls were so excited to be surprising her that we all went along with the fun. It was a great time and after many days of Anna talking about eating the delicious cake and ice cream, the long wait was no disappointment.
