...which is darn good these days.
This week has been a very rocky road for financial markets and one would pretty much have to be in a bubble not to have heard about all the chaos on Wall Street. Of course our girls are living in a bit of a bubble, that comes with the bliss of being a toddler and rightly so.
This morning they were not much in the mood for naps so I got them up early and they were very happy to get to watch The Price Is Right. Bob Barker or not, it's been a favorite with the girls since they were newborns (yea, last year) on account of all the bells and whistles, bright colors and crazy people jumping all around.
Today Sophia encountered her first "bully". This afternoon Lisa took the girls to the park and all was going well. Sophia was having a great time and then she saw a "big" girl (three years old) climbing on the bars and was mesmerized and stood there watching her. After a little while the girl walked over to Sophia and stood there for a few seconds and then she pushed her down. Sophia took a few seconds to comprehend what had happened and then burst into tears. The big girl's father was there immediately scolding his daughter and asking her why she did that, with which she replied "I don't like her looking at me". Apologies were made and time outs were given. Just one of what will be no doubt, many conflicts on the playground.
