When we took our ride around the lakes today we stopped on the west side of Calhoun for a cool refreshing lemonade and then we walked nearly three quarters of a mile up to Lake street. Sophia hopped in and out of the trailer several times so as to not get too tired, Anna however insisted on helping dad push the bike the entire distance.

While Anna is quick to choose the sidewalks, Sophia prefers the more rugged side paths.

When I asked Anna if she wanted a push on the tire swing she touched it and replied "too hot!"

This was our first visit to the north side play area on Calhoun and it's pretty safe to say it's a rather unconventional play area (difficult to maneuver through and a bit antique'ish), but it wasn't nearly as busy as the play area on the east side.
